In the interest of fairness. I’m actually looking for people to help me run it. Rules: All U-Go Girl, all the time. No Pixie.
Rising superstar Francis Manapul, fresh off his acclaimed run on THE FLASH with Geoff Johns, makes his comics writing debut in THE FLASH #1, sharing both scripting and art duties with Brian Buccellato.
Finished my final college class and came home to this news.
I went to Fanaticon in Asheville yesterday and got way too many pictures of Golden Glider. Please enjoy them now.
This is buy Raven Perez of Raven’s Dojo. He’s great and when I explained who Lisa was he agreed that she sounded like the coolest character ever. And look at that fucking Dolly Parton hair. I can’t handle it.
He also did me a Teen!Loki. If you look through my tags, you can find the Liberty Belle and Captain Cold he did for me last year. Cool guy all around.
So jealous of your great haul! Reblogging ‘em!
Thank you! Everyone should go to smaller conventions. You get to support small press people and get more art because of shorter lines. It’s a win-win.
Last one drawing from the convention. This was by Allen Belk, who did Liberty Belle for me last year. Super nice guy.
And my final Glaceon portrait. This was by Jeremy Massie, who only charged five bucks. He also did the greatest Captain America drawing of all time. I wanted to get another from him but he had a bunch of people waiting. But seriously, it was a steal, if you see him get one fast.
This is by Bobby Nash, who also writes pulp novels and comics. He had a cool zine about Golden Age heroines in public domain that I picked up. He drew for me Lisa with a Glaceon from Pokemon. It was my first sketch of the day and he just wowed me, so I also got another Teen!Loki with a Snivy.
